New contract to deliver services that are truly out of this world

Smart CT has won a major new contract to support the activities of one of the world’s leading organisations dedicated to the exploration of space.

As part of an essential hardware migration project, Smart CT will provide support services for the customer’s legacy infrastructure, whilst it awaits an upgrade to the latest OEM hardware. All newly upgraded hardware will then also be included in this contract as part of Smart CT’s unique ‘Hybrid Model’, ensuring full OEM support is provided throughout the duration of the project and beyond.

New five-year contract with one of its long-standing partners.

At the heart of everything Smart CT does is a commitment to customer service and it is these established and trusted customer relationships that act as a testament to Smart CT’s success.

This contract will see Smart CT deliver support services, with a 24x7x4 SLA, to an estate of over 25,000 devices, covering the entirety of the British Isles, including the remote parts of the Scottish highlands.

Smart CT has built its reputation on long-term partnerships and a trust that it will go above and beyond to deliver parts to a customer site within SLA. As part of its commitment to delivering an outstanding service, Smart CT has made a substantial investment in its spares holding to ensure the contract, geographical locations and committed SLA’s are fully supported.

Multiyear contract with a new Global Systems Integrator across all of Germany for a large Financial organisation.

Support for this contract includes coverage for Cisco, Checkpoint and on-site engineering services.

Smart CT won the delivery of this contract based on its strong presence across Europe, this presence has grown significantly over the last three years and now consists of 34 forward service locations (FSLs). This has enabled Smart CT to commit to 24x7x4hr SLAs for parts and engineering, which was a key consideration in the delivery of the contract. Smart CT also ensured one of its Senior Engineers was on site locally for this contract take-on to facilitate the smooth transition of all call management and on-site activities during this phase.

Large UK-based central government contract with a global outsourcer to provide network and voice support for Cisco and Avaya

Smart CT has won a large UK-based central government contract with a global outsourcer to provide network and voice support for Cisco and Avaya.

Smart CT’s multi-vendor services enable its partners to use Smart CT’s stock levels across the UK and Europe while also enabling the ability to manage OEM support for software updates where required. In addition to this, Smart CT has a comprehensive stock holding of legacy hardware which allows partners to manage transition projects for customers and have a full 24x7x4hr SLA for hardware to site service.

Smart CT has a long history of delivering services through its partners to local and central government organisations, these include security cleared personnel and secure facilities.

Large contract to help deliver break/fix services for one of the UK’s key Government organisations

This includes providing support for over 6,000 end-user computer devices, which has become even more critical at this challenging time, with the widespread move to homeworking.

The opportunity, provided by Wipro, requires the delivery of a fully managed, end-to-end laptop/desktop computer storage, imaging and redeployment service for its customer, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), for a contract period of 18 months.

Smart CT has a wealth of experience delivering these types of service for central UK Government customers, and will therefore provide a professional, proactive and reliable service. Smart CT will supply all devices required to end-users from its secure location in Twyford, using DBS-checked engineers. Devices will be provided, as requested, on a per-incident basis, and Smart CT will manage and maintain end-user pick-up and drop-off stock levels, in order to meet the contracted service levels.

In addition, Smart CT has now adopted carefully considered ways to keep its customers safely up and running through this difficult time, which involve its extensive UK workforce adhering to strict Covid-19 guidelines when dropping off and collecting devices. This includes replacement hardware being vigorously cleaned before it is delivered to the end-user, to ensure it arrives ready for use. Replacement devices are also covered under a service-level agreement (SLA), to ensure end-users are up and running as soon as possible, and collections are managed with a ‘tech courier’ service deployed across the UK, using Smart CT engineers.

Smart CT has used its extensive knowledge and experience to design and deliver the very best, agile solution, with benefits that have been tailored to meet all its customer’s requirements.

A huge thank you to all of the team involved in helping the business achieve this success, with special thanks going to Sam Jeffery, Smart CT Contract Coordinator, for her dedication and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction was achieved. Congratulations and well done to Sam and the team.
