Challenge

To develop a fully managed deployment service of satellite connectivity, replacing a variety of legacy WAN equipment with a new Starlink technology. The client required the works to be completed within business hours with minimal disruption to BAU operations, including the development of a robust installation process, sign off documentation, equipment performance testing and reporting, schedule development/reporting and budget tracking.

Solution

We worked with the client to develop an end-to-end managed deployment solution, from extensive PoC onsite development and testing with Smart CT’s software of capturing consistent requirements access all sites. Documentation of the process to schedule development and ongoing management, pre-engineer briefing and support, recorded step-by-step installation verification and sign off, and the development of a logistics handling program.

Implementation

We coordinated with the partner to ensure the schedule and run-rate meet their requirements and equipment delivery timescales at each stage of the project. Our deployment team have ensured works are completed consistently and to a high standard with comprehensive reporting of deployment progress and signoff presented to the client.
