Technical Services Manager
Overview of the role
Smart CT is looking for a Technical Services & Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for making sure all warehouse and technical services are managed efficiently, all processes documented and to produce any new process/procedural documents required.
This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Main Responsibilities
The role is responsible for achieving excellent customer satisfaction by delivering timely returns, dispatch, repair information and contract support for services provided by Smart CT and will be responsible for the execution of the following key tasks:

- Use technical knowledge to manage support calls and support bid management.
- Allocation and dispatch of stock.
- Warehouse Management and optimisation.
- Monitoring and updating external customer systems.
- Managing returns and updating Proof of Delivery (POD) information on Smart CT’s incident management system (service now).
- Triage of returned parts.
- Staging and configuration of Hardware.
- Maintain tools and test equipment within the department.
- To perform tests and diagnostics on a range of network and IT equipment.
- To develop and implement training plans and conducting bi-annual appraisals in a timely
manner. - Engagement in projects requiring specific stock management, warranty, and returns via the
RMA process. - Day to day team Management.

- Ability to identify training requirements to ensure that the skills required to perform the role are kept up to date and are relevant.
Skills and Experience
- Analysing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution to solve problems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Awareness of staging and configuration of IT hardware, including preparing devices for deployment, applying standard builds, and ensuring equipment meets required technical and customer specifications.
- Excellent IT literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office products and other internal systems.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards even when under pressure.
- Experience in a similar RMA role would also be of benefit.
- Experience in warehouse management, including stock control, workflow optimisation, and
oversight of warehouse processes to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
